This afternoon, football fans witnessed the annual derby between the two greatest rivals in the Serbian Super League. League leaders Crvena Zvezda hosted their lifelong nemesis, Partizan Belgrade, at home. Despite the title race already being settled—with Crvena holding an astonishing 23-point lead over Partizan—the intensity of the rivalry and the momentum of the occasion overwhelmed the supporters. The resulting chaos led to significant damage at Crvena’s iconic stadium, famously nicknamed "Marakana" due to its tremendous size.

As expected, Red Star took control of the game from the first whistle. However, Partizan’s players stood firm, defending resolutely against Red Star’s relentless attacks. Their efforts paid off when their star player, Aldo Kalulu, opened the scoring in the 39th minute.
Unfortunately for the visiting side, Crvena Zvezda was awarded a penalty in the 84th minute, which was calmly converted by their youngest player, Andrija Maksimović. Just three minutes later, an own goal by a Partizan defender gave Red Star the lead, sending fans and players into a frenzy both on and off the pitch.
